The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Yemen's Ambassador to Vienna, Austria, Haitham Shuja'a Adin explored Austrian humanitarian aid to cope with the damages caused by the natural disaster of Luban cyclone which the province of Al-Maharah recently.

As he met Tuesday with the Director of Development Department in the Austrian Foreign Ministry the Ambassador expressed Yemen's hope to be incorporated in the list of the countries which qualified to be given priority to receive the humanitarian and development aids in 2019.

He touched upon the situations in Yemen and the government's efforts to establish peace and development.

The Austrian official affirmed her country's support for the humanitarian actions in Yemen.
