The Local Authority for Fishing formed on Monday a research team for studying environmental effect, marine lives and measuring sea pollution.
The Head of the Local Authority for Fishing Abdulnasser Kalshat told Saba that this measure comes after the storm's floods swept huge wastes into the sea, foreshadowing environmental catastrophe.
He pointed out that the team will carry out its task in three days in cooperation with specialists from Seas Sciences Authority in Hadhramout.
