Saudi Arabia's Cabinet has strongly condemned what it called baseless allegations and false accusations made by the Houthi militia, reaffirming the Kingdom's continued support for the Yemeni people and their internationally recognized government.

FM, US Ambassador discuss peace prospects

Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yemany met Thursday with American Ambassador to our country Mathew Tuller.

Al-Yemany's discussions with Tuller focused on underway efforts to hold peace consultations that can produce peaceful settlement to the ongoing conflict in our country.

Al-Yemany demanded well-arrangements and coordination with the Yemeni government about the planned consultations to ensure constructive outcomes that can contribute to alleviate the Yemeni peoples suffering.

He also stressed the importance of supporting the efforts have been made by the UN Secretary General Special envoy to ensure that the rebels will honor the consultations process and abide by the obligations incorporated in the three terms of reference.

The American Ambassador underscored the need to keep on backing the UN's envy in Yemen in order to reach peaceful political and sustainable solution to the conflict and put an end of the Yemeni peoples' ordeal.
