Therapeutic nutrition in Taiz'sMuzaffar Hospital launched

Deputy Governor of TaizAbdulhakim Awn launched on Monday therapeutic nutrition centers project at al-Muzaffar Hospital carried out by Humanitarian Aid Organization and financed by World Health Organization.
The project lasts for 12 months.

Awn valued humanitarian efforts of the organization and its interventions in field of therapeutic nutrition to children who suffer severe malnutrition, pointing to difficult humanitarian and economic conditions Yemen goes through leading to great number cases of malnutrition among children.

For his part, Director of Taiz Health and Population Office Dr. Abdulrahim al-Sami'ee said his office seeks to open therapeutic nutrition in a number of hospitals for facing malnutrition.

He called organizations for help in humanitarian field and coordination with Health Office in the province.
