His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) blamed the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias for the Yemeni people longstanding humanitarian ordeal, particularly in the militias-controlled regions where the fellow citizens are struggling with unspeakable living conditions.

PM praises Saudi generous support for Al-Maharah, other provinces

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher highly praised significant support provided by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wake of Luban storm and other Yemeni provinces as well.

Dr Bin-Dagher voiced his appreciation for Saudi supportive response to the natural disaster in a telephone call he conducted with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to our country Mohammed Sa'eed Al-Jaber, the General Supervisor of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program in Yemen.

Al-Jaber stated that Joint Forces and KSrelief are offering humanitarian, shelters and relief aids to the people in need in the two provinces of Al-Maharah and Socotra.

He noted that air flights and relief convoys have started to be dispatched to the province of Al-Maharah and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program also is working on repairing electricity networks, re-open highways.
