Ministers of Civil Service, Information, Local Administration Swear-in Before President al-Alimi

Judge Akram Naseeb Ahmed al-Amri took the constitutional oath today, Wednesday, before His Excellency Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) on his appointment as Minister of Civil Service and Pensions. Salem Abubakr Mohammed Thabit al-Awlaki took the oath on his appointment as Minister of Information and Ahmed Saleh Ahmed al-Awlaqi took the oath on his appointment as Minister of Local Administration Following, the ceremonies, the President met with the new ministers and congratulated them on gaining confidence, wishing them all success in doing their national duties.

OFID announces new relief donation to Yemen

The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) has announced providing relief donation worth USD 600 thousand for supporting efforts of humanitarian in Yemen.

The new donation is added to previous support of USD 950 thousand.

Ambassador of Yemen to Vienna HaithamShugauddin said the donation comes in the framework of permanent response by OFID for helping Yemeni people over war triggered by Houthi militia on the Yemeni people and in the framework of friendship and partnership between Yemen and the fund.

OFID's Director Sulaiman al-Harbash said the donation will be provided to the Red Cross in Yemen for financing relief activities.
