Yemen's Ambassador to Moscow Ahmad al-Wahishi has renewed government's keenness on just and permanent peace based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
This ceremony coincides with exceptional conditions over Houthi militia's coup against the state and their war killing Yemeni people and destroying infrastructure, said al-Wahishi in a press conference held by Russian News Agency Friday on celebrating the 90th anniversary of signing friendship and trade treaty between Yemen and Russia in November 1928.
He praised friendship relations have been linking the two countries for 90 years and based on cooperation, facing joint challenges and fighting terrorism.
He pointed to concerts and cultural and political activities organized by Yemen's embassies in Russian cities.
