Presidential Decisions Bring Historic Gains for Yemeni Women

The recent republican decisions issued yesterday, Thursday, marked a new turning point in promoting the participation of Yemeni women in decision-making positions. The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, making her the first woman in the country's history to hold this sovereign portfolio. Moreover, Dr. Ahd Mohammed Salem Jaasous was appointed Minister of Local Administration, becoming the first woman to take on this ministry since the establishment of the republic.

Minister of Transport briefs Vice President on His Ministry's actions

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Thursday with Minister of Transport Saleh Al-Jabwani.

The Minister reported to the Vice President about underway efforts by the Ministry to reinstate its offices and improve transport services.

Aljabwani also detailed (Lt Gen) Mohssen on the efforts have been made by the Cabinet of Minister to re-operate airports and seaports in the government-held provinces in coordination with the Arab Coalition.

The Vice President urged further efforts to improve transport services and repair what the Houthi putshist militia destroyed.
