Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajash met with the with the Cuban Vice Minister of Higher Education Oberto Santín Cáceres, in Havana on Thursday.
The pair discussed the bilateral cooperation in the field of education as well the political situation in Yemen.
Bajjash recounted to Cáceres the turbulence that has been rocking Yemen since the Houthi coup in 2014 and the catastrophic consequences of the coup on the humanitarian life in Yemen including on health and educational services.
He also affirmed the offer of peace by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's government based on the three terms of reference for peace; the GCC Agreement, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference in 2013-14, and the UNSC resolutions especially resolution no. 2216.
