Minister of Local Administration, the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee, Abdulraqeeb Fath discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yong on Thursday humanitarian and relief situations in the country and Chinese support to Yemeni people in this field.
Fath confirmed that the relief process must target all provinces and that the Chinese rice shipments provided to Yemen have been distributed across the country in coordination with the Supreme Relief Committee and its partners of local relief organizations.
He pointed to supporting livelihood projects and their significance of boosting stability in the liberated provinces.
He praised Chinese positions supporting Yemeni government politically and relief support China provides to Yemeni people, confirming that this support will continue to be appreciated by the Yemeni people and their government.
For his part, the Chinese diplomat reaffirmed his country's relief and humanitarian support to Yemen and renewed political support of his country's government to the government of Yemen.
