FM praises Arab League's role for supporting government

Foreign Minister Khaled al-Yemany has praised the role of the Arab League supporting the government of Yemen for regaining the state and upending Houthi coup.

In his meeting with the Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Abulgheit on Monday on the sidelines of the 150th Round of the AL's Council on Foreign Ministers level, al-Yemany renewed government's commitment of peaceful solution to the crisis despite Houthi rebels' stubbornness and plots of failing peace efforts and recent peace consultations in Geneva.

The meeting comes in the framework of continuous coordination between the two parties for following up latest developments in Yemen and efforts for realizing sustainable peace in Yemen.

For his part, the Secretary General of the Arab League praised the role played by Yemeni diplomacy within the joint Arab work in different fields.

He renewed support of the Arab League to efforts of restoring the legality in Yemen.
