TOKYO-SABA
Yemen's ambassador to Tokyo, Samir Mohammed Khamis, and the ambassadors of the Arab Coalition member countries met today with the Director-General of the Middle Eastern Bureau at the Japanese Foreign Ministry Hiroshi Oka.
The ambassadors commented on the report issued by the UN Human Rights Council's Eminent Experts Group on Yemen abuses, a report which contained many mistakes, baseless allegations and false information and, hence, lacked neutrality and credibility.
The ambassadors requested Japan's support for rejecting the resolution at the meetings of the Human Rights Council which will be held in Geneva this month.
The report did ignored the crimes against humanity that the Houthi militia have been practicing since the beginning of the coup, including the killing of civilians and attacks on schools, markets and hospitals.
