Yemen's Ambassador to Ottawa Jamal al-Sallal and a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (FAAE) in the House of Commons of Canada of Commons Ziad Aboultaif discussed on Wednesday the bilateral relations in parliamentary fields.
Al-Sallal recounted to Aboultaif the situations in Yemen especially in the western coast, the Houthi threat to international shipping and the Iranian continued support to the Houhi militia.
He affirmed the Yemeni government's support to the efforts of the UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths in his efforts to broker peace with the rebels.
