Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population for Primary Health Care Sector, Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Waleedi convened an emergency meeting in the temporary capital Aden on Monday to address the situation of epidemics in several provinces and the measures to tackle them with support from the World Health Organization.
The meeting addressed the emergence of dengue fever in Shabwah province and the formation of a team for training female healthcare workers in the province.
The meeting indicated that the ministry will distribute 276 thousand mosquito nets in partnership with the International Migration Organization.
