President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. Yemen's Ambassador to Djibouti Abdullah Assoqatri met Wednesday with the Head of Arab Department in the Djiboutian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohammed Da'alah.

Bilateral ties and aspects of cooperation between the two countries were key focus of Assoqatri's discussions with Da'alah.

The Ambassador touched upon the peace consultations the Government will hold with the Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia. He stated that the consultations which scheduled for September in Geneva are basically going to focus on humanitarian aspects, relief actions and releasing prisoners.

The Djiboutian official reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government and solidarity with the Yemeni people.
