Yemen's president said all terrorist attempts can't hinder the plan to restore the Yemeni state back from Houthi rebels.
In a follow-up call with the governor of Taiz Ameen Mahmoud who survived a terror attack on his motorcade in the temporary capital Aden on Tuesday, President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi said the attack won't deter Mahmoud from implementing a recently laid plan to restore the parts of Taiz under the control of Houthis and othermilitant groups.
"The cowardly attack which targeted you will only increase the state's insistence on completing the liberation of Taiz from the control of the Houthi militia," added Hadi in the phone conversation.
In a separate conversation with Mahmoud, Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh got assured about his safety and called on the security authorities to be more alert in countering the terrorist plots.
