The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

President praises Egyptian Parliament's experiments

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi paid a visit to Egyptian Parliament on Tuesday and praised Egyptian parliamentarian experiment on legislation level and boosting democratic principles in Egypt.
He was received by Egyptian Parliament Speaker Ali Abdul-Al and a number of officials.
He expressed pleasure for this visit, which comes in the framework of his brotherly visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt and meeting with his brother Abdul- Fatattah el-Sisi for confirming the role of Egypt towards Arabs in different positions and conditions.
He valued the role of Egyptian Parliament in supporting Yemen and escorting faithful brotherly positions supporting Yemen in international parliaments and forums.
For his part, the Egyptian Parliament Speaker expressed happiness of the president's visit, pointing to brotherly relations between the two countries.
"Egypt will continue to host and support Yemeni brothers and standing behind them in the present and in the future as it used to be for decades in providing services and expertise in fields of education, health and development," he said.
He confirmed that they will support Yemeni Parliament in fields of training, qualification under these current conditions, pointing to their support to Yemen in regional and international parliaments and different forums.
Earlier, Yemeni Parliament Speaker Mohammad al-Shaddadi and Heads of Parliamentarian blocs thanked the Egyptian Parliament Speaker.
