The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

1500 Sheltering Units distributed to IDPs in Shabwah

A project of distributing 1500 sheltering units to the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) was launched Sunday. The humanitarian project is provided by the UN High Commissionaire for Refugees.
Deputy of governor of Shawbwah Abdulqawi bin Ali launched the distribution of the units to the IDPs in eight districts of Shabwah province.
He expressed thanks for the UNHCR for the efforts and contribution it has made to help the IDPs and refugees from the African Horn.
