Minister of Culture Marwan Dammaj met Sunday with Director of Humanitarian Operations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in our country Sa'eed Al-Ka'abi.
Dammaj's conversations with Al-Ka'abi aimed to explore Emirati contribution to repair and rehabilitate cultural facilities.
The urgently needed assistance to support cultural sector in the west coast and implementing cultural projects in Hodeida province was a key focus of Dammaj's talks with Al-Ka'abi.
The Minister highly appreciated the UAE's interest in supporting the Yemeni cultural sector and preserving the cultural heritage from Houthi putschist militia's violations and irresponsible practices.
The Emirati official stated that the UAE's support for the Yemeni cultural sector came within its constant efforts aimed to sponsor cultural programs and to preserve the cultural heritage of the Yemeni people.
