The Chargé d'Affaires of Yemen’s Permanent Delegation to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Ali Mousa discussed Monday with the Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council Ambassador Mohamadi Al-Ni ways to enhance joint cooperation between the delegation and the council, as well as mechanisms for developing joint Arab action in economic fields and making better use of available resources.

Saudi De-Mining Project pulls out 919 mines, (UXO)

Saudi De-Mining Project in Yemen "Masam" managed within a couple of two weeks to pull out 919 of landmines and explosive devices from Taiz, west coast, Shabwah, Sa'ada and Marib.

The United Arab Emirates news agency reported that Iran-backed Houthi putshcist militia has planted one million landmines in the Yemeni territories over the past three years, according to the General Director of "Masam" Osama Al-Qosaibi.

Al-Qosaibi noted that most of these landmines are anti-vehicles and individuals that are international banned. These landmines of different sources, besides the local-made or Iran-made mines which totaled 288.

It is important to note that the Saudi Demining Project in Yemen" Masam" is a humanitarian program launched by KSrelief Center on June 25,2018, with the aim of getting the Yemeni territories cleared of landmines and (UXO) planted by Houthi rebels.
