Aden-Saba
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, chaired a meeting for a number of security and military leaders in the interim capital Aden on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maysari, the Commander of the UAE Forces and Commander of the Arab Coalition Forces in Aden Brig. Gen. Awad Al-Ahbabi, the Commander of the Saudi Forces and Deputy Commander of the Arab Coalition Forces Brig. Gen. Sultan Salam and top military leaders and chief of the intelligence agencies.
The meeting reviewed a number of developments and events on the national scene and efforts to re-normalize life in the areas retaken from Houthi control.
"The world around us looks at the liberated provinces as a model for state restoration and building a nation of justice, equality and good governance," said Hadi.
He asserted that security holds the key to building and developing any country.
Hadi pointed to the challenge posed by the groups that are linked to the coup, extremism and terrorism, and have a shared aversion to the stability of security situations in the temporary capital Aden and the rest of the liberated provinces.
He stressed the need to unify the ranks and efforts to combat the outlandish phenomena of extremism and terrorism, the other side of the Iran's interference in Yemen.
Hadi stressed the importance of activating efforts and forming a joint operations room linked to the various distrit and regions of Aden and the neighboring provinces under the supervision of Minister of Interior and the leadership of the Arab Coalition forces in Aden.
He said such steps come within the framework of cooperation and coordination with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the brotherly partners with whom Yemen shares identity and destiny.
