Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Mohammed Assa'adi discussed Thursday several agreements and contracts with a delegation of the Kuwaiti Fund for Relief (KRF). The Kuwaiti delegation who is on a visit to our country at present headed by Chairman of Relief Committee in the Kuwaiti Association for Relief Eng. Jamal Annoori.

Assa'adi touched upon the increasingly growing challenges Yemen has been facing as a result of the Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup and war; highlighting the country's need for more support in view of the economic hardships.

The Minister voiced deep appreciation for the State of Kuwait for the significant contribution it has made to the humanitarian and relief operations as well as development drive throughout different stages.
