Ministry of Public Health and Population discussed on Monday situations of the National Programs for Combating Aids and Tuberculosis with support from the International Organization for Migration.
Participated by 26 participants from aids and tuberculosis program workers in 12 provinces, the meeting dealt with interventions, joint programs and boosting coordination and integration of services, epidemic situation, national response to these aid and TB, tests, situation of the current centers, problems and difficulties and strategies for curing the two diseases.
The Director of the National Program for Combating Aids and Tuberculosis Dr. NasreenDa'kik, Director of the Regional Center for Combating Tuberculosis Dr. AbdulnaserAyyash and Director of the IOM's Office in Aden Rabi' Sirri confirmed importance of the joint coordination between different health sectors, especially aids and tuberculosis.
They also confirmed adoption of positive ideas contributing in setting solutions all can deal with.
