The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Hadi chairs meeting of Electricity officials to address issues

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi chaired a meeting of Electricity officials in the temporary capital Aden on Tuesday and addressed several issues concerning power supply.
In the meeting attended by Deputy Minister of Electricity Mubarak al-Tameemi and other electricity sector officials, Hadi emphasized the importance of improving the service. The Electricity officials indicated that the total power capacity currently in use is 300 megawatts and work is underway to add 50 additional MWs.
