The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Council of Ministers holds weekly meeting, appreciates President's instructions

Council of Ministers held its weekly meeting Saturday in the interim capital Aden presided over by Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher.

The Cabinet has made a review on the implementation of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's directives he has given recently about the importance of urgently addressing key economic issues and improving basic services.

The Cabinet appreciated the President's instructions that have proved helpful and fruitful, particularly the presidential directive aimed to handle the shortage of electricity supplies.

The Council of Ministers discussed a report presented by Finance Ministry and Governor of the Yemeni Central Bank (YCB). The report underscored the importance of getting all provinces to deposit all revenues in the government's accounts in the YCB.
The Minister of Legal Affairs Dr Nehal Al-Awlaqi briefed the Cabinet on the implementation of the Cabinet decision about its approval to the settlement with the Chinese BUCG Company (Beijing Group of for Urban Construction) about Sana'a International airport the dispute.

Al-Awlaqi also detailed the Cabinet on Court's verdict about the settlement with Canadian Nixxen Oil Firm about the compensations of oil productive bloc (51) in Al-Massila area of Hudramout province. A brief report about the rule of the Permanent Arbitration Court (PAC) about a lawsuit filed by the mobile phone company(Sabafone) against the Ministry of Telecom in Republic of Yemen was also touched upon.

Minister of Electricity and Energy detailed the Cabinet on the MoU in the field of electricity between our country's government and the Republic of Turkey. The MoU was ratified by the government earlier.
