Yemen welcomes Ethiopian Prime Minister's visit to Eretria

Republic of Yemen has welcomed the state-visit by Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed to Eretria and the outcomes of his talks with President Esaisa Afwerki that will better serve the common interests of the two countries.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba)" Yemeni Government followed with great attention the Ethiopian Prime Minister's trip to Eretria, we do welcome the significant outcomes of the visit as this advanced political step will help to forget about the past and constitute solid foundation for robust relationship between the two neighboring counties that have had deeply rooted historical ties".

The statement added" The visit is vitally important for security, stability and development in the two friendly countries. It is also significant development will contribute toward maintaining regional and international security and stability in the African Horn and south of Red Sea".
