Minister of Social Affairs and Labors Dr. Ibtihaj al-Kamal discussed on Monday with UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Rim al-Hashimi efforts of the government in social and humanitarian fields, as well as fighting poverty.
These efforts are reflected in implementation many development plans and programs aiming at improving living conditions and changing local societies according to the available capabilities, said al-Kamal.
She briefedal-Hashimi on current plans of her ministry and priorities, especially activating small and middle-size loan projects, seeking UAE support to the projects for they have great positive revenues to different social categories and provides work opportunities to youth.
For her part, the UAE official showed keenness of her country's government on providing support to the government and people of Yemen to overcome this difficult stage.
She also confirmed providing necessary humanitarian support to alleviate suffering of the Yemeni people over the war being waged by Houthi militia on the people.
