Director of Technical Cooperation for Asia and the Pacific region at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Dr. NajatMokhtar has announced it will provide help for establishing radiation-therapy center in the transitional capital of Aden.
In her meeting with Yemen's Ambassador in Vienna, who is the permanent representative of Yemen to the IAEAHaithamShuga'ddin on Monday, she said the agency will continue technical support to Yemen in field of training and qualification and help to cancer centers under the supervision of the government of Yemen.
The meeting dealt with radiation therapy projects and establishing the center at al-Wahda Hospital in Aden, in addition to the agency's support to cancer centers across Yemen.
