Asbahi, Morrocan official discusstraining of Yemeni diplomats
[06/07/2018 07:29]

RABAT -SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to Morocco, Ez Al-Deen Al-Asbahi, discussed today with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Morocco Mohamed Lazraq the enhancement of cooperation in training Yemeni diplomatic cadets in Moroccan institutions.

Al-Asbahi reviewed the developments on the Yemeni arena and the Houthi militia's massive violations against civilians and systematic destruction of the Yemeni infrastructure. He pointed out that the liberation of Hodeidah seaport and city from the hands of the Houthis is a fundamental step in restoring Yemeni state institutions and restoring the most important resources of Yemen.

He reiterated that the army and the Arab Coalition are working with full care to maintain the seaport's operation and to facilitate flow of humanitarian and commercial items into the country in a normal manner.

He pointed out that the government's recapture of the port and city from the putschists is critical to the stability of Yemen and ending the smuggling of Iranian arms to Houthis.

"The restoration of Hodeidah city and its port to the government's control is also a protection for the regional security and an end to the threat posed to the international waterway in the Red Sea."
