His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stated that any approach to put an end of the war in Yemen will never be successful, unless it deals with the Houthi militias as part of an Iranian cross-border scheme, and not as a local political party, warning that reducing any crisis of this kind to truces and arrangements for a ceasefire will lead to temporary risk management rather than building sustainable peace.

Vice President Lieutenant General Ali Moshen has been briefed on Monday by Jawf Governor General Amin al-Akimi on efforts of the local authority in development and construction in liberated areas.

Al-Akimi acquainted Vice President with efforts on finalizing liberation of the province and on situations of military units and heroes in the battlefields, praising victories accomplished by the national army with support from the Saudi-led Coalition.

On the other hand, Vice President Ali Mohsen discussed with Governor of Sa'ada Hadi al-Wa'ily and Governor of Raima Mohammad al-Hawri latest developments in the two provinces and victories accomplished by the heroes of the national army in Sa'ada.

The meeting dealt with efforts exerted for regaining the state and its institutions in the framework of battles of ending the coup under the command of President Hadi and support from the Saudi-led Coalition.

Mohsen urged the two governors on exerting double efforts and unifying political and social factions for supporting the legality and the national army for rescuing the country from Iran-backed Houthi militia and achieving peace based on the three references.

Governors of Sa'ada and Raima pointed to the tragic situations of the people in Houthi-held areas of the two provinces, confirming active participation of the people in the battles for regaining the legality under national army.
