His Excellency (HE) President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), affirmed that the state is determined to protect civilians, uphold its legal standing and maintain unity in its military and security decisions, warning of the danger posed by the escalation of the South Transitional Council (STC) in Hadramout and al-Mahra governorates and the involvement of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in supporting the rebellion and undermining state institutions.

President Hadi praises Arab Coalition's support to Yemen

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi praised the support that the Saudi-led Arab Coalition has been offering to Yemen and to its government to counter the Houthi coup and insurgency.

In a meeting with the chief of the Police Committee at the UAE's Interior Ministry and the commander of the Arab Coalition's forces in Hadhramout, Hadi spoke highly of the central role that the UAE and Saudi Arabia play in supporting Yemen in all fields.

Hadi commented the sacrifices of all Arab Coalition's members in Yemen which shows their commitment to the one Arab identity and one destiny.

The meeting which was attended by the Prime Minister, Interior Minister, and governor of Hadhramout discussed the future Emirati support to developing public security in Hadhramout province.

The Emirati official presented a plan to rehabilitate the public security of Hadhramout, as part of the promoted cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
