Minister of Information Mo'mar al-Iryani has stressed on the role of media on covering military operations and victories accomplished by heroes of the national army and popular resistances against Houthi militia.
In a Ramadani night symposium held on Sunday and attended by Acting Defense Minister Mohammad al-Maqdashi, officials of local authority in Mareb, journalists and media men, al-Iryani stressed on unifying efforts of information and focusing on the key battlefield of upending the coup, regaining the state and discarding plots do not service the supreme aims of the Yemeni people.
He stressed on integration under the political leadership represented by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and discarding differences and political plots, adding that the aim of all Yemeni people is regaining the state.
For his part, al-Maqdashi has called for adopting information address reflecting the unity of the Yemeni people and their goals and providing media message serving the interests of the armed forces and the homeland.
He also called for abandoning small projects and neglecting rumors and falsified news targeting figures of the legality and the national army.
He confirmed that the national army is led by former officers and commanders and includes commanders and soldiers from all Yemeni areas and leading positions and affiliation to the army have been granted to all.
He pointed out that great efforts have been exerted for including the popular resistances in the army in accordance with the presidential resolutions in this domain.
