Kuwaiti Red Crescent launches Salary Energy Project in Socotra

Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRCS) launched Friday the distribution of solar energy sets within its Solar Energy Project (SEP) in the Archipelagos of Socotra.
The project is part of the KRCS's relief actions in the archipelagos.
Director General of the KRCS, Abdulrahman Al-Awn, explained that the (SEP) came in the framework of the steady efforts have been exerted by the State of Kuwait to provide the Archipelagos province with projects of development, services and different forms of assistance that can help alleviating the populations' suffering in the wake of "Mekunu" cyclone.
The SEP aimed primarily to equip 30 houses with solar energy systems.
