RIYADH-SABA

Foreign Minister Khaled Hussein Al-Yemany met Wednesday with American Ambassador to our country Mathew Tuller.

Developments of situations in the Yemeni arena were discussed.

Alemany stressed the importance of supporting the UN envoy's efforts aiming to produce a fair political solution and sustainable peace in Yemen. He also underscored the need for joining efforts to help addressing the humanitarian crisis that Yemeni peoples have been struggling with.

" This can only be realized by eliminating the grass-root of the ordeal: the militia's coup d'état against the State and its legal institutions", said Alyemany.

The Foreign Minister reiterated Yemen's position that supports the American stance toward the Iranian regime; opposing to its spoiler interference and agendas in the region. He stated that cooperation is imperative to prevent attempts seeking to establish new-Hezbollah in Yemen to disturb Yemen's security and the region's as well.

The American ambassador has reaffirmed his country's support for the Yemeni government. He stated that he'll work along with the Foreign Minister, UN envoy and all partners to achieve the common goal of reinstating the legitimate government, ensuring Yemen's and the region's security and stability.
