Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRC) announced Friday about providing urgent aids to the population of Socotra Archipelagos province to help alleviating the peoples' suffering due to Mackano cyclone that caused great deal of damage to the properties in the archipelagos, leaving large number of the population Internally Displaced People ( IDP).
The Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) quoted the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the (KRC) Dr Hilal Assayer as saying" these urgent aids came within the course of the efforts made by the society in charity and humanitarian action in a bid to alleviate the peoples' ordeal because of the cyclone that caused huge damage ".
Dr Hilal noted that these relief aids come within a series of humanitarian and relief campaigns the (KRC) carried out throughout Yemeni regions.
