Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maisari has stressed the importance of putting an end of illegal seizure of the public lands and assets.
His statement came as he presided over a plenary meeting Thursday devoted to discuss topics pertaining to illegal takeover the public property and lands.
The meeting brought together Acting governor of Aden, Ahmed Salimain, Acting Director of General Authority of Public Lands, Amer Abdullah and the Chairman of the Fee-Zone, Hassan Haid.
Al-Miasari lauded the campaign carried out by the Ministry of Interior against the illegal seizure of the public property in the interim capital Aden, mainly spaces of lands. He said " the Ministry of Interior had launched a clampdown campaign, the first of its kind, against the lawbreakers".
The Minister of Interior warned anybody may think of illegally taking over the public assets." The campaign would keep on, lawbreakers no longer can go unpunished, they should be held to account", said al-Maisari.
