A tripartite agreement was signed Wednesday between the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Yemeni Oil Company (PetroMasila), and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to finance petroleum derivatives and supply more than 70 power generation stations across various governorates.

Prime Minister appreciates British support for legitimate leadership and Yemeni people

RIYADH-SABA
Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher received Thursday the British ambassador to our country Michael Aron.

Yemeni-British bilateral ties and cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

Underway efforts and good offices aiming to establish peace in our country were a central focus of Bin-Dagher's conversations with Mr Aron.

Bin-Dagher has reaffirmed that the legitimate government has been very keen on dealing positively with every good offices aim to bring about fair and sustainable peace.

The meeting touched upon the active good offices have been made by the UN envoy Martin Griffith. Bin-Dagher made clear that the legitimate government supports Mr Griffith's efforts aiming to make peace on the basis of the three terms of references.

The Prime Minister deeply appreciated the British supportive stances in supporting the legitimate Yemeni leadership and government.

The British diplomat affirmed that his country will provide all possible support to re-establish peace in Yemen and it will continue to support the legitimate government's efforts aimed to re-normalize the situations and alleviate the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
