The national football team has moved up one place in FIFA's new monthly ranking reaching the 124th as published by the FIFA on Thursday.
This slight progress came after our team had qualified at the end of March to the Asian Cup finals.
According to the draw for the Asian finals hosted by the UAE in January, our team has been in Group D alongside Iran, Iraq and Vietnam.
For FIFA's monthly ranking, Germany, Brazil, and Belgium have maintained their positions in the top three rankings.
Portugal, Argentina, Switzerland, France, Spain, Chile and Poland, respectively, were ranked fourth to tenth, as in the last version of the rankings.
