Mahwali stresses importance of polishing young people's vocational skills

Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Abd-Rabbu Al-Mahwali has stressed the importance of continuous coordination and partnership with international organizations that contribute to honing the skills of young professionals in various technical disciplines to supply the labor market with qualified manpower.

In a meeting with the Executive Director of "For Everyone" foundation Sabah Bakir, Mahwali stressed the importance of helping vocational school leavers to find suitable job opportunities that help them practice and develop their skills even further.

They discussed the implementation of new disciplines that match with the needs of the labor market and implementation of income-generating enterprises for young people across Yemen.

In a separate meeting today with Mercy Corps, Mahwali signed an agreement to implement vocational training programs in various fields.
