The health teams implementing the anti-cholera vaccination drive inal-Tawahi, Al-Ma'alaand Khowr Maksardistrict in the temporary capital vaccinated 38,554 persons in day 1 of the drive on Tuesday.
The head of the Primary Health Care Department in Aden, Dr. Mohammad Rajmanar, told Saba news agency that the teams had given the oral cholera vaccine to 20,546 males,18,080 females and to 7871 children 1 -5 years old of both sexes.
He called on the teams working in the campaign to keep up the effort to cover as much areas as possible in the coming days.
