VP: We're fighting two battles: terrorism, coup d'état

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has confirmed that legitimate government has been facing two battles. "We're fighting one battle with the terrorism and another against the coup d'état", he said.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen's statement came as he chaired a meeting Thursday included the Security Committee in the province of Hudramout. The meeting aimed to address several topics relating to maintain security and stability in the districts of Al-Wadi and Sahra of Hudramout province.

The Vice President commended the good progress made by the local authorities and security services in the province He said:" Hudramout has set a good example of the province that makes responsible moves toward the would-be federal state of six provinces".

The deputy governor of the province detailed the Vice President on several issues and concerns need to be addressed by the local authority and other apparatuses in order to meet the peoples' needs.

(Lt Gen) has given instructions to provide the security services and local authority with the necessary resources to address urgent issues ought to be handled.
