His Excellency (HE) President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), affirmed that the state is determined to protect civilians, uphold its legal standing and maintain unity in its military and security decisions, warning of the danger posed by the escalation of the South Transitional Council (STC) in Hadramout and al-Mahra governorates and the involvement of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in supporting the rebellion and undermining state institutions.

Mahwali, ILO officials discuss technical educationin Yemen

Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Abd-Rabbu Ghanem Al Mahwali has stressed the importance of establishing a joint work mechanism between his ministry and the international organizations to implement disciplines and projects that contribute to providing the labor market with the required specialists in various technical and professional fields.

In a meeting Mahwali held with the International Labor Organization's representative Ali Dahaq and coordinator of the Informal Apprenticeship Development Project Najeeba Al-Najjar in the Ministry's office in Aden on Wednesday, Mahwali stressed the ministry's commitment to provide all necessary facilities for the implementation of training and rehabilitation programs in technical and vocational institutes.

The ILOrepresentative and the project coordinator indicated that through the Informal Apprenticeship Development Project which is being implemented in four Yemeni provinces, the ILO is seeking to strengthen partnership with technical education institutes, and eventually improve the level of income of trainees and strengthen the resilience of communities in the face of difficult social and economic conditions.
