Governor of Shabwa General Ali al-Harithi, along with Director of Public Health and Population's Office Naser al-Basi, launched on Tuesday the Delivery Emergency Section at Azzan Public Hospital, Maifa'a District, Shabwa Province.
The Project, which costs USD 603 thousands, has been financed by the Social Fund for Development.
Governor al-Harithi laid also foundation stone for the project of rehabilitating and equipping the maternity and childhood center at the same hospital with the cost of UAD 146 thousand financed by the fund.
Al-Harithi praised service interventions the social fund has been providing for years for serving the development process in the province.
For his part, the director of health office al-Basi made it clear that these two projects will be unique additionto the hospital services, stressing on health cadre to enable these two sections for providing their services to the people as demanded.
