The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher inaugurated on Tuesday the Project of Social Housing. The Residential complex included 400 apartments. The residential project aimed to help limited-income people to possess their own houses.
Bin-Dagher also laid down the foundation stone of the Project of Educational Complex. The project designed to construct 400 apartments and kindergarten. The project is to be funded by the local authority.
The Prime Minister also paid an inspection visit to the building of the Command of the Second Military Zone. The building was repaired after it had been seriously damaged by Al-Qaeda terrorist militants.
