VP: Military and Securities authorities make protecting civilians top priority

Vice President lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has made clear that military and security apparatuses have always been making civilians' safety and protection top priority.
The Vice President's statement came as he met Monday with a delegation from the (CIVIC) organization. The organization is interested in protecting civilians during conflicts.
The delegation informed (Lt Gen) Mohssen about the CIVIC's projects, missions and activities.
The Vice President welcomed the delegation, highlighted the need for protecting civilians in light of the Houthi militia's irresponsible practices as the militia has deliberately been targeting the civilians.
(Lt Gen) Mohssen reiterated his strong condemnation of murdering the official of the International Red Cross official in Taiz. He described Hanna Lahoud assassination as hideous crime aimed to further worsening the humanitarian crisis in Taiz.
