President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. Deputy Minister of Civil Service Dr. Abdullah Al-Maysari met with the chief of the International Committee of the Red Cross Francois Moriouain Aden on Sunday and expressed his condolences to Morioua over the martyrdom of the ICRC's employee in charge of the ICRC's Detention Program in Yemen Hanna Lahoud.

He stressed the keenness of the government and the whole Yemeni people to reveal the facts about the cowardly murder crime against Lahoud,capture the criminal(s) and bring them to justice. Lahoud was shot dead in Taiz on Saturday when an unknown gunman opened fire on him and fled.

Al-Maysari appreciated the ICRC's humanitarian mission which has contributed to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people affected by the protracted Houthi insurgency.
