The Minister of Local Administration, the chairman of the Supreme Committee for Relief Aid, Abduraqeeb Fatah condemned the Houthi continued bombardment of houses and displacement of residents of the villages of al-Hayma in Taiz and a number of the districts.
In a statement to Yemen news agency "Saba", Fatah called on humanitarian aid organizations to provide the needy in those villages with all the necessary relief and humanitarian assistance and to look into the suffering of the people and condemn the continuation of the Houthi crimes.
He called on the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lisa Grande and all humanitarian organizations to intervene quickly to stop these crimes, visit the afflicted region to closely inspect the violations they are subjected to, strongly press Houthis to stop the violations, report what is happening to the United Nations and the UN Security Council.
He stressed that the silence for the Houthi crimes across Taiz province is unacceptable completely contrary to international humanitarian law.
