The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Governor of Taiz Dr. Amin Mahmoud has praised victories accomplished by martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and its sovereignty.
In his meeting with the leadership of the Families of Martyrs Association on Monday, Mahmoud confirmed that their issue is in the top list of the local authority's priorities.
He confirmed that the office of the families of martyrs and strugglers of the Yemeni revolution in the province will be activated for issuing all martyr's issues.
He issued directives of renting a headquarter for the association and approving operational budget and alleviating all difficulties facing it, thanking efforts of the association in taking care of families of the martyrs and curing injured people.
He was briefed by the Head of the Association Dr. Khadija Abdulmalik on issues of the martyrs and their families like salaries and challenges it faces.
He stressed on doing justice to right issues of martyrs and honoring their families.
