The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a joint meeting today, Monday, with the National Defense Council, (NDC) in the presence of all its members: Sultan al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi.

Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr discussed with the Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maysari and the acting governor of Aden Ahmed Salimin the security situation in the interim capital Aden.

Bin-Daghr praised the efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry during the past period to establish security and stability in Aden and the rest of the government-held provinces. He stressed the need to redouble efforts and work to overcome the obstacles and to enforce law and order.

He affirmed that the government will provide all the necessary support to the security agencies to perform their duty to the fullest.

He issued directivesto revitalize the intelligence work in coordination with the Arab Coalition to maintain security in the capital Aden for the public good.

He pointed to His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's directives to improve services the electricity, health, education, hygiene and water services. He pointed out that there are a number of projects that the government intends to achieve in the coming months.
