Saudi Arabia and France have agreed on organizing an international conference in Paris for mobilizing humanitarian assistance to Yemen.
In a joint Saudi-French release issued by Saudi News Agency on Wednesday upon warping up Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's visit to France, the two countries confirmed need of a political solution for Yemen's crisis in consistence with UN Resolution 2216 for ending suffering of the Yemeni people.
The two leaders denounced firing ballistic rockets by Houthi militia on the Kingdom. They stressed on the countries supplying Houthis with rockets and weapons to abide by the UN related resolutions banning these acts.
According to the release, France announced readiness of supporting the Saudi-led Coalition and the UN organizations for quick provision of the humanitarian assistances to all Yemeni people, including humanitarian response plan financed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE with USD one billion.
The two parties reaffirmed support to the UN envoy's efforts for reaching a political solution to Yemeni crisis.
